Sense Making and Pleasures of Aesthetics

When people ask me what I do, I usually answer “I’m a project manager and I teach aesthetics in everyday life and business”.

The latter creates curiosity.

”How can you teach aesthetics in everyday life and business?” They ask. Defiance switches to curiosity on their faces.

”I cannot”, Ι answer. ”I teach people to let themselves live and work in an aesthetic way.”

“Do you mean that we can all experience the aesthetics in our everyday life and work?” Mistrust now switches to hope.

“Yes.”

“Do you really believe that?”

“Yes.”

The idea of aesthetics came after a cultural management program I’ve attended. In the past, I’ve also dealt with management, training, design and exclusive experiences, but I was also looking forward something, which could combine all above along with moral issues. I met a remarkable mentor and I realized that I was interested in the aesthetics context of our choices in everyday life and business.

The subject of aesthetics was known to me, but I hadn’t identified that till then. Usually, people around tell me that I have artistic and kind personality. Thus, aesthetics seem to be under my skin.

This is my personal project: to help others to look for aesthetics in their living and business.

So, I’m delighted to share with you matters close to my heart, ideas that I find stimulating, and some practical tips and leads that you might find useful. At the core, of course, you’ll find aesthetics. But my interests also go far beyond; you’ll get a taste of that range here. Plus news you can put to use in your life or work, or in both.

Yours sincerely,
